Great Boston Marathon home base! Loved the property, loved the location, zero issues during our stay. The only thing I regret is not having some sunny weather to have been able to better enjoy the roof top deck. 1.5 baths seemed like it was going to be tight for our party of 6 adults and 3 kids, but we never had any issues with hot water at all. What a beautiful home in a quiet and family-friendly neighborhood. We did not have time to really enjoy the house but for the little time we were there, it truly felt like home.

Rustic Cabin Perfect for a Family weekend away! We rented this home for a family weekend away (Friday through Monday). Even though there were 7 adults, we were quite comfortable. The bedrooms downstairs allowed for more privacy, and having 2 bathrooms was definitely a plus. The home is set RIGHT ON THE WATER of the Billington Sea (really a fresh water lake) and the little dock they had was perfect. We were able to go fishing, swimming, and boating. We brought our own row boat, but there was also a canoe and kayak. The house is defintely more of a rustic lake house, but the bathrooms have been updated, the beds were newer mattress, and there were enough AC units to keep the house cool. The kitchen is small, but we primarily cooked and ate outside on the patio area. Overall we had a WONDERFUL time here and would love to come back! Source: TripAdvisor

Good location and great management.

We rent a lot of homes for our crew while working in various places. This home was very comfortable for each of our crew members to have their own space. It has a great location with easy access to the city. The managers of the home were the best. He went over and above to help us with our scheduling problems. Lovely houe, lovely lake lovely area good fishing! The house was very nice, clean and neat. the Billington Sea was great and the fishing was good. Close to attractions such as Plimouth Colony, the Mayflower and Boston. Had a great time.

Photos don't do it justice--amazing place! This is a gorgeous property in an adorable town. The views are amazing with balconies off almost every room. The sauna is lovely, and the hot tub was so relaxing after a day at the beach. Very neat and clean, and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend it. Many beaches are a close walk or bike ride, including the one very private one just across the street. Also ventured (by car) to the Boardwalk area in Hull, which was a great day trip (including a carousel!) There is a cute general store nearby for an easy breakfast, or a lunch to have in or take to the beach, or for an evening stroll to the ice cream window. Or make a family dinner in the gorgeous kitchen (we did this several times) and/or grill out back. The private back area is great for family gathering/relaxing. TVs with Netflix is most bedrooms and living spaces. The town is just up the road and there are kayak and paddle board rentals, nice restaurants on the water, and cute shops. Source: HomeAway

Unbeatable! Wow, that's all I can say, why pay NYC hotel prices when you can stay here, In October, I had stayed in a Hotel in Queens with my son (nearly broke the bank!!), so having my daughter visit this time, we thought we would try renting a house, proved to be a great decision. We stayed a week with my daughter flying into Newark from the UK, perfect as it's a couple of miles away. There's a supermarket half a mile away for all your needs. The owners are very welcoming and will let you know all about getting around, they have all the train/bus timetables for you if you haven't a car, and lots of brochures for the city and local eating places, so no worrying about how to get any where or if you don't require fancy cooking, where you can eat or get a call out. The house is very comfortable after a day of walking around New York, ample room/double bedrooms and everything you need is there, if you have time or energy left, you can shoot some pool in the basement. The train station is walkable for a 30 minute ride into the city, straight into NY Penn Station, although we chose to drive. Parking at the train station is a very reasonable $9 a day. The road is lovely and quiet and right next to Kean University Campus, so very safe. Don't miss out on the NJ coast if you have a car and you want a quieter day than the bustle of New York. Needless to say that both my son and daughter will come and visit next summer and this is where we will stay. Source: VRBO, from HomeAway
